Paradero

Paradero, El Pescadero

Welcome home to Paradero

A limited collection of private homes

Drawing from traditional communal dwellings throughout Latin America and beyond, Mexican architect Gabriela Carrillo has designed the Paradero homes to reflect the interdependent relationships between humans and nature. Here, the natural beauty of the Baja intertwines with architecture, design, landscape, and humanity.

Dining

I have brought clients to Tenoch for dinner and the experience is exceptional. The restaurant is open to the public and worth a visit when considering where to eat in Pescadero. In 2024 they were added to the Michelin Guide and deservedly so.

Travel down a long dirt road past fields of peppers to find Tenoch. Located within Paradero Todos Santos, the restaurant’s open-air setting is breezy and laidback and belies the serious food coming from this kitchen. The contemporary Mexican menu focuses on locally sourced seafood and produce from their own farm, and dishes feel timely. The soft-shell crab taco is as deceiving as it is delicious, appearing simple but coming alive on the palate. Slow-roasted beef tongue is loaded with flavor and incredibly tender while the manchamantel mole offers the perfect blend of spicy, sweet and fruity. For dessert, order the chocolate taco with black garlic panna cotta, or the dessert take on French Toast that is both decadent and dramatic.
