So far the biggest difference between the States and Baja are the early morning wake up calls.. Does every household have their own rooster?

I just assume they died of natural causes like the other hundreds of makeshift memorials along the way…
The road from El Rosario to Guerrero Negro is long… and windy… and desolate… and beautiful! You could truly think during stretches of driving that you are the only person on earth… until you come up on a blind mountain curve and a semi trailer jolts you awake as it appears suddenly from the opposite direction. To top it off, my Sirius XM reception was in and out the whole time!
Very fortunate I decided to turn around after passing through El Rosario first.. it was not quite the typical roadside town one might expect as a stop in the States.. Obviously no franchise hotels along the road but the town is very easy to pass through if you are not careful. So glad I didn’t so I could enjoy the amazing hospitality at Baja’s Best Bed and Breakfast!

I thought during my self-cleansing that this must be what your very first shower after prison feels like…
