A tale of two towns on the very edge of Baja California Sur, #LosCabos is synonymous with relaxation and recreation. But when the team at Expedia made the voyage here, they found more than just a beautiful #vacation destination. They uncovered new shores, geological monuments, and exciting experiences. They encountered a region with diverse and welcoming people, vibrant art culture, world-class cuisine, and of course, a thrilling nightlife.

For a romantic secluded escape, #explore the arty San Jose del Cabo, a cultural hub bursting with inspiring art, Spanish colonial architecture and sheltered shores. If you are chasing the fiesta, check in to a hotel in Cabo San Lucas. Every sunset brings a new party to the sands and the streets here, so don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes.

For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

One of my favorite Cabo properties, Legends Point

Dane PoseyEverything Pose Knows Cabo

The history

Casa Osprey is also known as “Legends Point” and is under contract with multiple offers. I have had this listing for a few years and it just goes to show that sometimes the market in Cabo can be fickle. No activity for no good reason and then one day three offers come in within 72 hours from different, unrelated parties.

The property

Legend’s Point is a 1,200 square meter (12,912 square feet) parcel overlooking Costa Azul beach and the famous surf spots of San Jose del Cabo, such as Zippers, The Rock, Middles, and Acapulquito, also known as Old Man’s. Along with the lot is the original house built by the legends themselves. A quaint 1 bedroom apartment that sits atop of a garage and an independent studio with a large open living room, dining room and kitchen with great views of the point. Many of the full-grown trees on the property were planted by the owners many years ago, providing for a tropical setting that pairs well with the view of the surf spots. This property was first bought back when Costa Azul, also known as Gringo Hill, was discovered by migrant surfers from California. Many of the neighbors were surfers and lived to enjoy the south swells that bring the coast to life. To them, as to many of us, the endless views of the ocean and the sound of the crashing waves are worth every penny.

Gringo Hill

With time, this beachside community is now in the middle of coastal development and is zoned for residential touristic or RT0, allowing for 4 stories, making Legend’s Point a prime development property or a killer surf view homesite.

Legend’s Point is located 4.3 kilometers from downtown San Jose del Cabo and is surrounded by beautiful beaches, surf spots, golf courses, fine restaurants, and shopping.

As Cabo continues to grow, Legend’s Point will continue to increase in value as there are very few properties like this in town and none with the views offered from Legend’s Point. You can see the sunrise from Punta Perfecta and the fireworks on Punta Palmilla, with all of the bay of San Jose del Cabo in between.

Legend’s Point is a prime property for anyone looking to develop condos, a boutique hotel or a private residence with views of all the surf spots in San Jose del Cabo. Curious how you can own property in Mexico? Click here.

Own a mango farm in San Jose del Cabo

Dane PoseyEverything Pose Knows Cabo

MLS ID 19-2255

If you ever wanted to slow down the pace of life, get out of the city, and move to a farm like in this article by Lew Gallo, then it is your lucky day.

This lush mango farm is located 10 minutes from the Los Cabos International airport on the Palo Escopeta road. There are approximately 250 mango trees, assorted vegetable gardens, and an active chicken coop – all with water supplied from the local ‘Ejido’ farming cooperative. There is a total of 2.49 hectares (6.5 acres), mostly forested with mango trees, and a two-bedroom Casita. The property borders the arroyo and has views of the Palo Escopeta hills and, in the distance, the Sea of Cortez. The harvested mango’s currently supply a local restaurant in San Jose del Cabo and the surplus crop is sold for a nominal price.
