The entire cabovillas.com team is excited to welcome their clients back to Los Cabos. On arrival at your villa rental, a dedicated concierge will welcome you with their signature Mexican salsa, margaritas, and chips. Here, Julianne shares an easy recipe to replicate their traditional salsa at home.
Chiles serranos to taste (1 is a good starting point)
12 sprigs of cilantro
1 TBS olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Char your serranos, tomatoes, and onion over fire or grill, and if necessary finish them off in a cast iron pan with some olive oil until cooked through (soft).
Place all ingredients in your mortar and pestle (“molcajete”), blender, or food processor, and grind ingredients together to your preferred texture and consistency. Enjoy with tortilla chips, huevos rancheros, or fresh handmade corn tortillas with ranchero cheese.
Pair your salsa with our margarita recipe and start planning your next Los Cabos getaway as you enjoy the flavors of Los Cabos.
Legend’s Point is a 1,266 square meter (12,912 square feet) parcel overlooking Costa Azul beach and the famous surf spots of San Jose del Cabo, such as Zippers, The Rock, Middles and Acapulquito, also known as Old Man’s. Along with the lot is the original house built by the legends themselves. A quaint 1 bedroom apartment that sits atop of a garage and an independent studio with a large open living room, dining room and kitchen with great views of the point.
Many of the mature fruit trees on the property were planted by the owners many years ago, providing for a tropical setting that pairs well with the stunning views of the surf spots. This property was first bought back when Costa Azul, also known as Gringo Hill, was discovered by migrant surfers from California. Many of the neighbors were surfers and lived to enjoy the south swells that bring the coast to life. To them, as to many of us, the endless views of the ocean and the sound of the crashing waves were an investment that, worst-case scenario, they would have the closest house possible to the area’s best surf breaks.
With time, this beachside community is now in the middle of coastal development and is zoned for “Residential Touristic” or “RT0”, allowing for 4 stories, making Legend’s Point a prime development property or a killer surf view homesite.
Legend’s Point is located 4.3 kilometers from downtown San Jose del Cabo and is surrounded by beautiful beaches, surf spots, golf courses, fine restaurants, and shopping.
As Cabo continues to grow, Legend’s Point will continue to increase in value as there are very few properties like this in town and none with the views offered from the property. In the morning, you can see the sunrise from Punta Perfecta and the evening fireworks on Punta Palmilla, with all of the bay of San Jose del Cabo in between.
Legend’s Point is a prime property for anyone looking to develop condos, a boutique hotel, or a private residence with views of all the surf spots in San Jose del Cabo. Contact Dane Posey to tour.
