Golf is hard

Golf is hard

Golf is hard and I am lousy at it.

I have a secret to share, more of an admission… I’m terrible at golf. It is just that I have never been good, not even close. Although the desire is there the skill is not. Having hooked up with Jaron Higgens at Palmilla Golf Course in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur at a charity golf tournament, he offered to take me under his wing and do his best to help me stop embarrassing myself on the course. If he can help me, he can help you too!

But it seems so easy

Golf may seem like a relaxing Sunday afternoon activity, but it can actually ruin your whole week and be expensive to boot. The sport emphasizes patience and focus, requiring golfers to learn how to handle numerous different club types with accuracy and precision, unlike me who putts with a 3-wood from anywhere inside 60 yards. The game of Golf is often referred to as a “thinking man’s sport” for good reason; I think about closings, the number of diapers remaining at home, basically anything at all except what I should be at the moment of impact. Although it can be incredibly rewarding to hit that perfect shot after hours of hard work, understanding the nuances of golf and squeezing out every little bit of performance from every stroke takes dedication and commitment, which I have historically lacked on both fronts… until now.

Keep an eye out for future episodes to see if I can hope to be respectable one day, but don’t hold your breath…

A Guide to Cabo Real Estate

Every year, thousands of people flock to Cabo San Lucas to experience the unparalleled beauty of this Mexican paradise. From amazing beaches and crystal-clear waters to world-class resorts and vibrant nightlife, it’s no wonder why so many people are looking for a way to make Cabo their home. Whether you’re looking for a permanent residence or an investment property, the real estate market in Cabo is full of potential. Let’s take a look at what it takes to buy real estate in this stunning part of Mexico.

Before you begin your search, it is important to understand that foreigners are not allowed to own land in Mexico unless they obtain special permission from the government. Fortunately, there is a way around this: foreigners can purchase real estate through a bank trust known as fideicomiso. This legal agreement gives buyers all the rights and privileges associated with owning property but allows them to avoid any legal complications that may arise from owning land directly.

Types of Real Estate Available in Cabo

The types of real estate available in Cabo range from traditional houses and condos to resort-style villas and oceanfront properties. There are also plenty of options available for those who want something more unique such as beachfront villas, hillside homes with stunning views, and even off-the-grid cabins on the East Cape. No matter what type of property you’re looking for, chances are good that you’ll find something that suits your needs.

Finding Your Dream Property
